The Bar at Sony Hall

New York City | 2018

The street-facing Bar at Sony Hall, located within earshot of Times Square, references both the existing tectonic history and current entertainment culture of the neighborhood. While located in the heart of the Big City, our intent was to make evident the hand of the people that make up this city. Hand made tiles reference artisans, and the bright but warm glow of the lights echoes the stage performances viewed throughout the neighborhood by referencing notes on a page
